If you have any, post them here!

I'll try to answer any questions and reply to ideas ASAP. This is also where you can comment with promotional art.

During our marathon, what if we encouraged members to make things for charity (like Project Linus blankets or whatever) while they watched?

The crafty things could be for something like Project Linus or maybe they could donate it and we could auction off. Either way, that's a great idea.

This is more of a comment/update than anything.

Still no word from that mod on the official forum that I PM'd about the designs and whether it's OK to post about the event over there. Oh well. I think we're right in assuming that the awesome logos and whatnot are OK to use. No one else has gotten jumped on for using variations of the ST logo before for other stuff.

Just to be safe though (I'm paranoid), I won't post a link over on the official forum just yet until/unless I get an answer from the mod about it.

I could design shirts and promotionals, maybe some printables to tag along local bulletin boards, if there's a demand. I'm a bit concerned about the copyrights and such, but they logically shouldn't mind considering it's for a good cause (something Gene Roddenbery would be proud of, I bet) and not for commercial reasons.

Would anyone be interested in these? The money earned would go to the charity. Perhaps we should have an official auction/purchase store, as I've seen some lovely creations from people who are members of this community. What's a good site to have a design screenprinted onto a shirt?

Update from the ST movie forum mod. He says whoever he spoke to (didn't name who it was) "passed it on to legal and nothing has come back yet."

I don't know if that means we're in the clear or if that means they haven't made a decision yet.
